For group bookings of 8 or more, a credit card is needed to secure your reservation. Smaller groups can book normally without a deposit.
What is the cancellation policy for bookings?
Group bookings follow a 48-hour cancellation policy. Just give us a heads up if your plans change so we can release the table.
What payment methods do you accept?
Mee So accepts all major credit cards, debit cards and cash, making dining easy no matter how you like to pay.
Can I purchase a gift voucher for Mee So?

Yes. Mee So is built for group dining, from birthday dinners and hens parties to wedding celebrations, corporate events and private dining. We offer semi-private spaces and full venue hire for bigger moments.
What group dining packages are available?
Mee So offers canapé packages, shared 2- or 3-course menus, buffet options for 20+ guests and the full Mee So Menu for a more relaxed, flavour-packed celebration.
Is there a minimum spend for group bookings?
Minimum spend varies depending on group size, day of the week and whether you’re booking a semi-private space or the full venue. Our team can tailor a quote to your event.
Can I host a birthday party at Mee So?
Yes. Mee So is a favourite for birthday dinners and group celebrations thanks to bold flavours, fun vibes and flexible spaces.
Does Mee So host weddings or wedding receptions?
Yes. Mee So hosts intimate weddings, pre-wedding events and larger receptions, with semi-private spaces or full venue hire available.
Can I host a corporate event or product launch at Mee So?
Yes. Mee So is ideal for corporate events, EOFY celebrations, team dinners and product launches, with AV plug-ins and tailored menus.
What spaces are available for private dining?
Mee So features two semi-private sections that can host 6–10 guests, perfect for cosy celebrations and group dining in Sydney CBD.
Is exclusive venue hire available?
Yes. Full venue hire is available for larger events, perfect for big celebrations, brand activations or corporate functions.
What is included in the group dining packages?
Inclusions vary depending on the package, but options can include custom menus, shared platters, canapés, drinks packages and AV access. Our team will guide you through the best fit.
Do you offer customised menus for events?
Yes. Event menus start from $30 per person and can be customised to suit dietary needs, event style and guest numbers.
Event Logistics
Can I bring a cake for my event?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring a cake, and we can store it safely for you. If you’d like the team to cut and serve it, a $2 per person cakeage fee applies.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. Mee So does not offer BYO, but our bar team has a full menu of cocktails, wine, beer and sake to keep the party flowing.
Is there a noise restriction at Mee So?
Mee So has a lively atmosphere, but we keep things respectful for hotel guests upstairs. As long as your event doesn’t cause disturbance, you can enjoy the music and energy.
What time can I have the venue until?
Events can run until 11:00pm, whether you’re in a semi-private space or hiring the full venue. Music will need to finish at 10:30pm.
Can I bring my own music or a DJ?
Yes — Mee So loves a good soundtrack. You can bring your own DJ, and DJ decks are available for hire for $250, giving you full access to the venue’s equipment.
What time can I set up for my event?
Set-up time will depend on your booking type and hire window. Our team will arrange access based on your event schedule.
Do you provide AV equipment or speakers?
Mee So offers basic plug-and-play speakers, and we can connect you with trusted external AV suppliers if your event needs more.
Do you offer decorations or styling services?
While Mee So doesn’t provide in-house styling, we can recommend local event stylists and suppliers to help bring your vision to life.
